Stationery Orders for 2019http://www.stpaulswoodridge.qld.edu.au/latest-news/Pages/Stationery-Orders-for-2019.aspxStationery Orders for 2019
In 2019, to assist parents and teachers in the purchasing and ordering of stationery I am happy to announce a more straightforward process. Parents/caregivers will be asked to make a discounted monetary payment to cover all stationery requirements for the 2019 school year. Parents/caregivers will no longer have the option to buy the stationery packs themselves. To assist parents/caregivers to pay this amount there is the option to pay in instalments or via direct debit. The full amount can be paid with cash or EFTPOS at the school office. I will send a separate letter to all parents early next week to ex-plain this 2019 stationery process in more detail.

Year level amounts and inclusions are listed below:

Prep ($70) Stationery items and special Prep resources

Year 1 ($70) Stationery items and Oxford Maths Text Book

Year 2 ($70) Stationery items and Oxford maths Text Book

Year 3 ($70) Stationery items and Oxford maths Text Book

Year 4 ($70) Stationery items and Oxford maths Text Book

Year 5 ($70) Stationery items and Oxford maths Text Book

Year 6 ($90) Stationery items and Oxford maths Text Book + Senior Shirt

Cyber Safetyhttp://www.stpaulswoodridge.qld.edu.au/latest-news/Pages/Cyber-Safety.aspxCyber Safety
Primary school aged children should not have personal accounts on networking platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. These online services require users to be 13 years old or over. Primary school aged children might be able to successfully use the technology offered by these services but many, if not all children under this age, do not have the sense of responsibility or social sense to safely use these services.

Parents of Primary aged students must teach their children the responsibilities that go with using technology. Parents must closely monitor all communication and check in with their children when they are using online services.

Schools such as St Paul’s will help to teach children how to use technology in a responsible and respectful way and we arm students with strategies to assist them in being safe online but the ultimate responsibility for what your son or daughter gets up to online is your responsibility. Please regulary monitor and check in with your son or daughter’s online activity.
