It’s been a year like no other! We have experienced some difficult times as we have lived through the Covid experience but we have grown stronger as people and as a community because of the experience. The year has taught me many things but the most important message gleaned from this year is that we are stronger together. I would like to thank the entire school community – students, parents and staff - for their hard work and commitment to making 2020 the successful year that it was.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents for your patience and understanding with the changes that have affected the way we have operated at St Paul’s School. Your positive support has enabled us to navigate this year well. I would also like to thank all of our staff. The staff at St Paul’s have perhaps worked the hardest they ever have this year, to ensure your children were well supported across the entire year. Please know that the St Paul’s school staff group is an outstanding group of people who care deeply for your children. They are committed to their support every day and for that I am truly grateful. I feel very blessed to be leading such a great group of professionals.
As we now enter the church season of Advent, we are challenged to reflect upon what is important in our lives as we wait for the birth of the infant Jesus at Christmas. I pray that this time of Christmas will be a time to enjoy what is important for you and your family. Best wishes and have a very Merry Christmas.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish our Year 6 students and the other students across the school who will be leaving St Paul’s at the end of the 2020 school year all the best as they move to a new stage in their lives.
Finally, I hope everyone has a safe and blessed holiday. Here’s to 2021!
