Week 5 each term is named Wellbeing Week at St Paul’s. It is a week that focuses on the important things we can be doing to look after ourselves. Wellbeing week focuses on our efforts to improve our physical, emotional, spiritual and mental health. I have recently spent some time away from school recovering from illness and this time away reminded me of the importance of eating well and resting well in order to get the best out of myself. The secret to maintaining a healthy and balanced life with regard to wellbeing is to put in place routines that will you will be able to stick to. This will be my chal-lenge over the coming weeks and months.
This week our staff have been sharing some hearty soups and we have been sharing some of our favourite books. Students have been undertaking mindfulness activities in class and they have had the opportunity to participate in morning Yoga classes.
